The Cradle of Aviation Museum is an aerospace museum located in Museum Row at the Nassau Hub, New York, on Long Island, to commemorate Long Island's part in aviation history. The museum is an entertainment destination for Long Islanders and others.

John J Byrne Community Center is supported by the Uniondale Neighborhood Center, Inc., in existence since 1986 to provide community center services for youth. The organization is a 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt organization, supported and managed by the community. Because we are currently managed solely by volunteers, while we grow the organization, you can be assured that 100% of your donations directly impact our mission to serve youth services. From our inception we have served in excess of 30,000 kids through our participating service agencies. Your contribution will impact these and many more to be productive members of society.

Uniondale today is an unincorporated hamlet within the Town of Hempstead on Long Island, NY.
History
Once known as Turtle or Turtle Hook, as far back as 1852, it comprises the Uniondale School District.
Schools
There are an extensive number of Uniondale schools. Uniondale's schools are far-ranging. Including Cornelius Court School, Uniondale's Public School System is among the best on Long Island, spread out in nine (9) locations.
Religious
Uniondale is home to a broad cross-section of religious organizations, the most prominent being St. Martha's Roman Catholic Church in the heart of the community.
Civic Organizations
Uniondale has many cooperating, vibrant civic organizations; the Uniondale Community Council is one of considerable longevity and was responsible for the birth of the Uniondale Neighborhood Center, aka John J Byrne Community Center.
